TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  

Northern Coastal LLC
Residential Service Agreement & Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

 

1. Parties

This Agreement is between Northern Coastal LLC (the “Company”) and the property owner or authorized representative (the “Client”). Acceptance of an estimate, proposal, or scheduled service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of Services

The Company will perform only the services described in the approved estimate. Additional work requested by the Client may result in additional charges.

3. Access to Property

The Client authorizes the Company to enter the property to perform the agreed services and any reasonable pre- or post-service inspection. The Client shall provide safe access to all work areas, unlock gates, restrain pets, and disclose any hazards.

4. Water and Utilities

The Client agrees to provide access to an operational exterior water source and, if needed, electrical power. If the property uses a well or has limited water volume, the Client agrees to minimize water use during service. We also have the capability of supplying water for an extra fee. Please ask for details.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Before service, the Client shall close all windows and doors, remove fragile items, vehicles, doormats, flags, decorations, and notify the Company of any loose siding, damaged caulking, leaks, electrical concerns, or sensitive surfaces.

6. Cleaning Methods

The Company primarily uses soft washing for siding and other delicate surfaces. Pressure and detergents are selected based on the surface being cleaned and accepted industry practices.

7. Pre‑Existing Conditions

The Company is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing defects including loose siding, deteriorated caulking, failing paint, rotten wood, cracked mortar, loose window glazing, oxidized surfaces, improperly installed materials, or other conditions that would not withstand normal cleaning.

8. Water Intrusion

Reasonable precautions are taken to prevent water intrusion; however, the Company is not responsible for intrusion caused by failed seals, deteriorated weatherproofing, structural defects, or other pre-existing conditions.

9. Stain & Surface Limitations

The Company does not guarantee complete removal of all stains. Rust, battery acid, red clay, oil, grease, artillery fungus, efflorescence, oxidation, hard water stains, and similar discoloration may be permanent or only partially removable.

10. Landscaping

Reasonable efforts will be made to protect landscaping. The Company is not responsible for damage to unhealthy or stressed vegetation or plants adversely affected despite reasonable precautions.

11. Weather & Scheduling

Service dates are estimates and may be rescheduled due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside the Company's control.

12. Payment

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late balances may accrue interest at the lesser of 2% per month or the maximum rate allowed by Ohio law. The Client is responsible for reasonable collection costs where permitted by law.

13. Damage Claims

Any claim for alleged damage must be reported in writing within three (3) calendar days of service completion. The Company shall have a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, at its option, repair any damage directly caused by its negligence.

14. Media Release

Unless the Client objects in writing before service, the Client grants the Company permission to use photographs or videos of the property for marketing, training, and documentation. Personal identifying information will not be intentionally disclosed without consent.

15. Limitation of Liability

The Company's liability is limited to direct physical damage caused by its negligence. In no event shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any legal action shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Ohio.

17. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the accepted estimate constitute the entire agreement between the parties unless modified in writing.

19. Acceptance

By accepting an estimate, scheduling service, signing a proposal, or allowing work to begin, the Client acknowledges that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
