A soft wash is a Low-Pressure, safe and clean way to remove organic growth from your home. We "downstream" a blend of detergents and soft chemicals to kill sensitive organics such as mold, mildew, algae, lichen and others. No extreme pressure will be applied to your home. We then give the areas a gentle rinse to wash away dead organics.
Yes. The average 2500 SqFt home will only use about 200-300 gallons of water. The average cost per gallon in the United State is .3c per gallon. The Standard 2 story home would only cost .90c. If you would like us to bring water, we can do so for a $20 extra charge.
No. We pre-wet and post-wet all the vegetation around your gardens, flowers, trees and shrubs. We take care and pride in protecting your property. Our solutions are formulated with a soft wash method using the downstream process, to ensure the mixture is not over-bearing to vegetation. If you would like us to cover your most sensitive plants or gardens, please let us know!
No. While this seems like a great way to save money, it is not ideal and here is why. When we apply the soft wash mixture to the home at a corner it will overspray 100% of the time causing "streaking" and "blotching" Mildew grows on all surfaces on your home and needs to be killed off. This includes window frames, gutters, porch pillars and fences.
In some ways yes, absolutely! Keeping growth such as lichen off surfaces, can prevent damage. Lichen is a fungus that can slowly eat away at soft metals, paint and wood. Keeping your home clean and free from molds and mildews can increase the value during a home sale!

During our soft wash process we will cover and mask off all electrical boxes, AC units, Video Doorbells and water faucets at no additional cost!
Absolutely! We have a self-help DIY section with videos to walk you through our processes. However, with anything, there are risk factors you must be aware of. High Chemical concentration permanent damage, High Pressure Damage, Liability to neighbors' homes and personal health risks are major factors you must consider before doing it yourself. Hiring Northern Coastal Pro-Clean or another professional company will eliminate the worry of such risks.
We recommend a soft wash every 1-2 years.
No. In fact we prefer that you are not home during the process. That way you protect yourself from possible exposure to the soft wash solutions we use.
In short. No. We do recommend you keep your pet inside at least 1 hour after cleaning to allow time for everything to dry out. We require you to secure your pets inside the home during services. We will turn over Dog/Cat watering bowls to protect your pets.
